Since its foundation, Iniciativa Proxima has been committed to contributing to the scientific education of Brazilian students. began in 2020 as the first program launched by Iniciativa Proxima. For this year’s edition of the program, 27 outstanding students are about to start an intensive 10-month journey with us. They will have access to workshops with scientists and other professionals from around the world, career development sessions, and individualized assistance from their mentors - you!

The mentorship component is an essential part of the program. You will be the ones getting to know our students on a personal level and providing them with individual guidance to ensure their experience in the program is fruitful and impactful.

We hope you enjoy the process and learn from it as much as we do. For your time and commitment to the success of each of our Scholars, we thank you in advance!
